Rainer Planinc

Rainer Planinc

Rainer Planinc was born in Vienna and received the PhD degree in 2015 and the MSc. (Dipl.-Ing.) in Media Informatics as well as his MSocEcSc. (Mag.) in Computer Science Management in 2010. Currently he is working as a senior researcher at the Computer Vision Lab (Vienna University of Technology). His main research interests are in the field of vision based AAL (Ambient/Active Assisted Living) technologies as well as the analysis of behavior.

Michael Brandstötter

Graduate at Vienna University of Technology as well as the postgraduate „Engineering Management Executive Education Program“ at Oakland University, Michigan. Several years of experience as coordinator of EU projects in the 5 th and 6th framework programmes. Lastly account quality manager at China AT&S in Shanghai and responsible for customer support (quality) like Sony, Motorola and Nokia in the Asia Pacific region. Since 2007 responsible for the operative management of CogVis Ltd.

Martin Kampel

Martin Kampel

Founder and partner of the CogVis Ltd. as well as Ass. Prof. (Privatdozent) at the institute of Computer Aided Automation at Vienna University of Technology. Main focus image processing: Issues from the areas of image and video analysis. In 2009 habilitation at the faculty for informatics at Vienna University of Technology. Guest researcher at the universities of Zurich, Brescia and Istanbul. Scientific leader and assistance professor in national and international projects. Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific publications at international conferences and workshops. He is engineer consultant for informatics and sworn and forensically certified expert.

Bettina Riha

Bettina Riha

received the B.Sc. for Data Technology at Vienna University of Technology with focus on Computer Graphics. 15 years working experience as network- and system administrator. Most recently she worked as a system manager at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. At CogVis Bettina is responsible for technical development, training and support.

Christopher Pramerdorfer

Christopher Pramerdorfer

Christopher Pramerdorfer received the MSc. degree in Visual Computing in 2013 and the BSc. degree in Media Informatics and Visual Computing in 2011, both from the Vienna University of Technology. Since 2013 he has been working as a research assistant at the Institute of Computer Aided Automation / Computer Vision Lab at Vienna University of Technology. His main research interests are 3D image and video analysis and machine learning.

David Fankhauser

finished the technical college in 2010 (technical computer science). He finished his bachelor study at the TU Wien in 2014 and works currently on projects within his master study visual computing at CogVis.
